MP3 of the Moment: Cold War Kids

"Hang Me Up To Dry", from the 2006 Cold War Kids album Robbers and Cowards. Yeah, I'm a bit late, but shit happens.

This is an example of a really simple indie-pop song, held together by the constant presence of its joyous bass line. As I've said before, all a song needs to become an instant hit with me is a groovy bass line.

"Hang Me Up To Dry" was #8 on the 2007 Triple J Hottest 100, although the first time I heard it was on a self-made video of Tony Hawk skateboarding in his backyard earlier today.

You're REALLY late. You need to improve your triple j whorage... or at the very least pay attention to the Hottest 100. :)

Thanks for the advice, but I really don't listen to radio, not even the Js... and among the 100 songs of the Hottest 100, there's too much crap to just check it all out.
